Fermanagh Comhaltas would like to congradulate our three Fermanagh Musicians on their All Ireland success in Drogheda this year at the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann. 

John McCann who came 1st in Over 18 Button Accordion (Lisnaskea CCE), Aoife O'Reilly who came 2nd in 12-15 English Singing (Belleek CCE) and Conan Whitley who came 1st place in 15-18 Flute Slow Airs.

Fermanagh Fleadh 2019

Fermanagh Fleadh takes place in Derrylin from Friday 7th of June to Sunday 9th of June.

On Friday 7th June there will be an opening concert at 8pm in the Kinawley Community Centre which will feature the Blackwater Ceili Band (All-Ireland Champions) and various other artists with MC Martin Donohoe. 

On Saturday 8th June competitions will take place at 10am in St Aidans High School, Derrylin with all duets, trios and band competitions taking place. There will be a youth session at 2pm in the Mountview Bar, Derrylin while they'll be live music on Gig Rig with the Travellin' Trads from 3pm in Blakes Car Park. Later that evening there will be a comhaltas mass at 8pm in St Ninnidh's Church. For all singers and storytellers there will also be a session in Clachan Court, Derrylin from 9pm Saturday and 4pm on Sunday in Roches Bar, Kinawley. Sets ceili will be led by the talented Breege Flynn in St Ninnidh's Hall, Derrylin at 9:30pm on Saturday. 

On Sunday all solo competitions will take place at 10am in St Aidans High School, Derrylin. There will be a vintage car display from 2:30pm whilst there will be live music on the Gig Rig from 3pm with the Mountain Road Pipe Band, Garadice & The Bandjacks and the CD launch of Fergus Bogue & Gerry McMahon. 

And finally to close the fleadh off in great style we will have the flor ceili from 9:30pm in Kinawley Community Centre with the maestro himself Raymond Loney on Saturday 15th June.
